About the Frontend

Askademia is an educational platform for finding tutors, exploring tuition centres, following revision events, and joining online classroom sessions. The public interface is organised around search, explore cards, and content sections for tutoring, study centres, blogs, and events.

Our contribution was frontend development. Working as part of a dedicated team, we used ReactJS to build a seamless, interactive user interface — navigation, search, section layouts, and the overall educational presentation. We did not develop the complete product, and this case study does not claim the backend, database, authentication, or APIs as our work.

The broader application also used Firebase for real-time functionality and secure data storage. That is part of the product technology the team worked with. Our role stayed on the ReactJS frontend: a user-centric, responsive interface for the educational experience.

Challenges

Project Challenges

An educational interface that stays easy to scan: Tutoring, centres, events, and classroom content had to share one visual language without competing for attention.
Consistent screens across the marketing site: Hero search, explore cards, classroom, about, testimonials, and news needed to feel like one product, not separate pages.
Interactive ReactJS components: Search tabs, forms, cards, and a testimonials carousel had to behave clearly while staying lightweight on the frontend.
Layouts that hold up on smaller screens: Wide photography, card grids, and the tutor-search panel needed to remain usable as the viewport narrowed.

Our Approach

UI and UX implementation
We translated the educational product into a clean interface: header, hero search, explore grid, classroom, about, testimonials, and events.

ReactJS development
We built the frontend in ReactJS, with reusable components for navigation, buttons, cards, forms, and section layouts.

Responsive experience
We implemented layouts that keep photography, search, and content readable across desktop and smaller screens.

Frontend integration
We worked with the project team to connect this interface to the broader application where required. Firebase remained part of that product technology; we did not build the backend infrastructure.
